Chris Wallace's Stellar Job as Moderator

I have cussed at the TV after hearing Wallace repeat and give credence to some of the Republican fake conspiracy theories against Hillary in the past, and I'm sure I will again in the future. But for a Fox News journalist, the leading fake news agency in the world, to give a fair and balanced performance at a this Presidential debate? I can only chalk it up to the growing notion that many Republican journalist's and voters are waking up, and realizing the fraud that the GOP has been laying on them for the last two decades. Oh, there are still plenty of nut-cases, but I've got to hand it to Wallace. Credit where credit is due.
On Wednesday night, we finally saw a debate which drew out at least a modicum of policy discussed. As we already know, trying to keep Trump talking about an issue is nearly impossible, and as he strayed time and time again from the question asked, turning the answer into an attack against Clinton, Wallace was the first debate moderator to be able to throw a wrench into his childish performance, and get the conversation back into an actual policy debate. When Trump would beg him for more time, Wallace said "No". Of course, Trump would then talk over him anyway, but Wallace allowed Clinton to drown him out as her time was beginning. Even though we could not see Wallace's face, there was something that he was doing which caused Trump to shut up and listen. I don't know if it was a Jedi mind trick, a pointing of the finger, or a dirty look, but whatever it was, it seemed to work most of the time.
As a result, we were able to finally hear Hillary's policy positions and Trump's lack of knowledge of how the Presidency works, how democracy works, how the delicate handling of foreign policy works, and a complete lack of understanding of the intricacy's of domestic affairs with regard to human and civil rights. His economic plan was dismantled by Hillary, relatively free from bias and interruption.
Essentially, Hillary walked away from the debate looking like a President. Trump walked away with one of Hillary's boots firmly planted in his ass. Even Trump has to know now that he is ridiculously outclassed here, out-smarted, and out of her league. He's a little league player batting against a major league pitcher.
I thought the best line of the night was Hillary calling Trump a "Puppet" of Vladimir Putin. You could see Trump shrink before your very eyes. There were many projectiles fired at each other, but like the previous two debates, the barbs thrown at Clinton bounced harmlessly to the ground as she once more showed why she is fit to hold the highest office in the free world. Then, as one conservative commentator put it, Trump was doing okay and then punched himself in the head and knocked himself out. This was referring to his lack of willingness to accept the election results, which again plays into Putin's propaganda campaign against the United States. Hillary litigated the case against Trump's Russian philosophy well, and he basically crumbled. The puppet had no response.
After the second debate, my mood was so bad that I just felt like banging my head against a wall and moving to Canada. After this debate, I felt good. While I still don't trust poll numbers in this election, since there has never been a TV star run for President without having any public service experience prior, bringing millions of "fans" to the polls who may or may not have been registered voters previously and would not be considered "likely voters" by pollsters. Hillary supporters need to NOT be over-confident. It's not over til it's over.
After the debate, Trump's son Donald, Jr. was in a full meltdown in an interview with Hannity. He spoke nonsense at light speed, and clearly seemed to be under the influence of cocaine to me. It was evident that he found a fake journalist willing to listen to his lies, and packed 30 minutes of bullshit into a 3 minute interview. Like father, like son. The son is just as insane as his father.
Naturally, most of Trump's statements and attacks on Hillary were rated FALSE by Politifact. We may have to list his combined lies told over the three debates to clarify his lack of intelligence and understanding of the world.
The choice could never be clearer...
